Net Zero House at The Sea Ranch
AAA has a new project under construction at The Sea Ranch in Sonoma County. This two-bedroom house has been designed to incorporate a number of Passive house strategies to achieve a Net Zero Energy design. A spacious south-facing deck connects the residence to the studio on the right.

Thread on converting offices to housing. I was partially involved in converting the Book Concern Building in SF into housing. A lot of pre-war buildings would be easier to convert, but they have structural issues and are not as empty as some of the newer buildings
