Net Zero House at The Sea Ranch
AAA has a new project under construction at The Sea Ranch in Sonoma County. This two-bedroom house has been designed to incorporate a number of Passive house strategies to achieve a Net Zero Energy design. A spacious south-facing deck connects the residence to the studio on the right.

454 people visited our project in Oakland last Saturday during the 2015 East Bay AIA Home Tour. Our thanks to the East Bay AIA for making it happen and Turtle and Hare for providing staging for the house.

East Bay AIA Home Tours
Our nearly completed residence will be featured in this year’s East Bay AIA Home Tours on Saturday, August 8th. This project reclaims one of the few remaining sites in the Oakland hills cleared by the 1991 firestorm. The design is from AAA Architecture’s Randolph Ruiz, with the collaboration of Benjamin Parco. Ballots are arriving soon! As you join us to Fund the Bus and vote YES on Prop L, be aware that for Prop L to take legal effect, it must get more YES votes than Prop M. But Prop L doesn’t affect Prop M, so if it gets more votes, both can pass!
