Airports are great victims of their own morality, always attempting to combine crystalline monumentality with the infrastructural chaos that surrounds aircraft like a gas.
Transforming the common wall-like division of the airport into landside and airside by turning the "wall" 90 degrees into a roof, we make the landside indeed land and the airside actually air. Verticality combined with modularity allows V.A.M.M. departure lounges to freely puncture airfields, enabling it to turn both new and old airfields effectively into giant roofs.
