AAA has a new project under construction at The Sea Ranch in Sonoma County. This two-bedroom house has been designed to incorporate a number of Passive house strategies to achieve a Net Zero Energy design. Our nearly completed residence will be featured in this year’s East Bay AIA Home Tours on Saturday, August 8th. Thread on converting offices to housing. I was partially involved in converting the Book Concern Building in SF into housing. A lot of pre-war buildings would be easier to convert, but they have structural issues and are not as empty as some of the newer buildings
